Where can I buy a Shot Scope PRO LX?

I’ve had the chance to use this new laser golf rangefinder and it’s excellent! The Shot scope Pro LX and Pro LX+ with GPS is now available direct from the Shot Scope website.

You can order your own rangefinder by clicking here or by clicking on the image below.

What I was most excited about finding out before getting my hands on it was how it is to use on the course. I’m used to using a watch and a rangefinder, and I use them in different ways. Often, for me my rangefinder simply compliments my watch. It helps me dial in the yardages when I want more detail than my watch can give me. Such as a large green where there is quite a large distance between the front, middle and back readings.

So, the fact that this has a separate H4 handheld GPS which attaches to the rangefinder is very interesting.  On the course I found it really easy to use both readings from the laser rangefinder and the H4 GPS. I’m sure it will lead to shots knocked off your scorecard with the extra technology available. The fact it comes with 16 tracking tags was also very exciting, it’s as if there are three products in one!

“Shot Scope is thrilled to unveil this game-changing device to the golf industry, as we introduce GPS distance and performance tracking technology to laser rangefinder users for the first time ever,”

David Hunter, CEO, Shot Scope

I was able to get my hands on the orange rangefinder, it’s also available in blue or grey.

Is the Shot Scope PRO LX+ Any Good?

I found this really good, I usually use both a watch and a rangefinder. However with the PRO LX+ I was able to simply use one device and not have to worry about my watch. The fact that it also comes with 16 tracking tags is excellent because I love to review my analytics post round. The shot scope app allows you to get into the detail with your game stats such as average distances and shots gained information.

It will be slightly different for golfers who are not used to using a GPS and it could be information overload. However, if you want to improve your game and are happy to persevere the more information you have the better!

Why Do I need a Golf Rangefinder?

Rangefinders can really help to improve your game, they allow you to dial in the specific yardage to any shot on the course, as long as you can see a direct view to the target. They an complement your GPS watch by providing extra yardage information and specific distances to the flag, usually within =/- 1 yard accuracy!
