“Weekly episodes of stories in Irish golf, practical advice, tales from the tour, golf tech and learnings which may inspire you to strive and go all in on your golfing, fitness and maybe even some life goals. PaddyTalks Golf show is all about bringing the stories in golf, predominantly Irish Golf, to all of you in a very relaxed vibe as if you were overhearing a chat in a coffee shop or in someone else’s kitchen. Paddy sits down with a wide variety of guests to cover everything golf, from PGA pro’s, professional golfers, amateurs, green keepers, golf club managers’s, CEO’s of Golf companies and also will release the odd major and Irish Open preview. Looking to bring a golf is for all voice, to bring the discussions from our fairway four-ball’s to the rapidly-evolving game, discussing freely and openly everything golf. So what are you waiting for? Let’s tee it up and press play.”
FunGolf Opinion: I’ve only recently found this podcast and it has very quickly become a firm favourite. Paddy’s passion for the game, sense of humor and amazing guests will keep you quickly catching up with the back catalog of over 75 episodes. Highly recommended! If you get the chance I would also recommend checking out paddytalksgolf.com where you’ll be able to find some awesome golf swag and accessories in the Pro Shop! Enjoy!

“GOLF’s Subpar, hosted by featuring former PGA Tour pro Colt Knost and his long time friend and on course rival Drew Stoltz, pairs colorful segments with in-depth sit-down interviews with the game’s biggest personalities. It will be available across GOLF.com’s platforms every Tuesday.”
FunGolf Opinion: Knowledgeable content delivered in a very down to earth style. In depth and conversational, good fun and very engaging.
(5 Stars from 43 Ratings)
“Hosted by broadcaster Shane Bacon and PGA Tour pro Max Homa, Get a Grip is a golf-centric podcast making light of a rather stuffy sport with legitimate insight into the game. It’s essentially the public golf course of podcasts. The show will offer a look into the PGA Tour from a guy between the ropes week in and week out and have some fun at both his peers and golf fans’ expenses.”
FunGolf Opinion: Slick production, with a very well put together podcast. Light hearted conversation but backed up by strong knowledge of the game. Not surprised by the 5 star rating, this is one of the best golf podcasts that you will want to subscribe to so you don’t miss any!

“Mark Immelman isn’t just the older brother and swing coach of 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman, he’s a broadcaster on a variety of platforms, one of the leading instructors in the world of golf and happy to help improve your game.”
FunGolf Opinion: This is one of our top choices. A very informative podcast which looks at the game from every angle. It’s been going a very long time, yet the content is still strong. Mark talks to you more as a friend than a presenter. Great stuff!

“Welcome to The Rick Shiels Golf Show podcast! Every Tuesday a new podcast brings you golf chat (and none golf chat) from Rick Shiels. “
FunGolf Opinion: Guy and Rick bounce really well off each other and are extremely entertaining! If you’ve watched the videos (which is highly likely) you’ll love this podcast as well. It’s no surprise that they’ve had over 1m downloads in just 40 episodes. Excellent content and great fun! Another one of the best golf podcasts.
(4.8 Stars from 78 Ratings)
“The Shotgun Start with Andy Johnson of The Fried Egg and Brendan Porath of SB Nation is a podcast waiting for you early in the morning that quickly blasts through a variety of topics (usually) related to golf and (ideally) relevant to the day. It covers news from the pro tours around the world, amusing and important topics from the amateur game the rest of us play, and some irreverent stuff in between. There will be short interviews, previews, reviews, and dives into the archives. It provides what you need to know on golf through a rapid and fun catch-up discussion.”
FunGolf Opinion: The dynamic between the Andy and Brendan is great. They have made us laugh out loud nearly every episode. They’re knowledgeable but don’t ram it down your throat, a very lighthearted but competent look at the game. In our top 5 golf podcasts and with three episodes a week these guys are relentless in producing content!
(4.7 Stars from 36 Ratings)
“The fried egg dives deep into the topics of professional golf, golf course architecture and amateur golf. Guests range from PGA Tour winners to the world’s greatest architects to great amateur players.”

Hosted by Dr. Patrick Cohn of Peak Performance Sports, the golf psychology podcast allows junior, collegiate, amateur, and professional golfers to ask Dr. Cohn a question on golf psychology or the mental game of golf.”

With short detailed podcasts this is a very easy listen and one which you will soon want to binge on the back catalog. With over 260 episodes you’ll have plenty to get into on your playlist.

“From MyGolfSpy – Fore The Golfer.
Unbiased. Independent. NoPuttsGiven.“

In these episodes Mark will be sharing his coaching knowledge, his ideas on golf travel, golf equipment and all thing golf. Making sure he is keeping golf fun for all and trying to help golfers improve along the way.”

The topics are well thought through and discussed in a fun engaging way. His videos are quality, if you like them you’ll love to listen to this for when you can’t watch.

“The Rough Cut Golf Podcast with Peter Finch.”
FunGolf Opinion: The YouTube legend Peter Finch interviews some really interesting names from the world of golf and social media. The episode with Rick is well worth a listen just for the quality of the banter. No updates since July but Peter is a very busy man so I’m sure he’ll get around to producing some more quality podcasts very soon.
These were our selections from the Big Hitters in the Golf Podcast world. However, at FunGolf we also care about the lesser known choices and our recommended Podcasts for you to get into.

“Three bang average golfers discussing all things golf”
FunGolf Opinion: Love this podcast, could become a cult classic in the same way the Peter Crouch podcast took off. These guys have great personalities and make very enjoyable listening. Much like having a good chat with my mates down the pub, good stuff. This is great as it will resonate with us other average golfers. We also loved the title ‘Bryson breaks golf’! One of the best golf podcasts in 2021 and beyond!
21. On The Dancefloor Golf Podcast
(4.5 Stars out of 21 Ratings)
FunGolf Opinion: Flying the flag for Ladies Professional Golf, and Scotland, this is a really good podcast, if you haven’t found it yet you’re missing out. They have some amazing content and conversation but are also joined by some high profile guests. Most recently having 3 LPGA winners on the show. Check them out and you won’t be disappointed!
22. Duff City Podcast
(5 Stars from 2 Ratings)
“Hosted by Chris Michela and Brian Shenefelt, Duff City Podcast covers everything golf and we’re not too serious about it. We’ll cover PGA tournament previews, general golf talk, golf DFS, and subtly track down Jason Dufner every so often. Tune in weekly as we provide entertaining commentary to the heated topics in our beloved sport of golf.”
FunGolf Opinion: This has become a firm favourite although it’s really new. We love the style of how this is delivered, regular guys who are into golf in a big way. Your ‘would you rather’ discussions are a really fun way to consider the game and have certainly got us thinking about what we would choose. We’re really hoping for much more content to come from these guys.
“This is a show hosted by Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher and ranked #1 in North Carolina by Golf Digest, Jason Sutton, “aka The Guru” in which he has top teachers and coaches in the golf industry on to share their techniques for success in golf, life and personal development.
