Unboxing the Mileseey PF1

Now, it won’t help your game, but the box the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder comes in is seriously impressive, usually in rangefinders they just come in a standard white box but this with its blue and white finish looks really cool. So if you’re planning on gifting this to someone they’ll be impressed with the packaging. Inside the box, the rangefinder continues to impress with a stylish silver and black carry case, it feels soft but sturdy enough to protect the device if you drop it, knock it, or decide to throw it after a bad shot.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder: Design and Features

I think the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder case looks great on my bag and on the course it looks excellent. Now a small detail worth noting is that the zip has been designed in a way to keep the case water-resistant – If you play in the rain, this will definitely keep it dry.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder has a water resistant zip which is a great feature if you play golf in the rain.

Device Appearance and Handling

The cover feels premium and has a nice finish to it. A close-up look shows a really sleek looking device, the white color has a very cool silver marble effect to it, and again that chrome Mileseey logo looks great. Size-wise, in my hand, it’s very compact, despite the small size it actually feels easy to handle and to carry, it’s actually really light weighing only 100 grams.

On-Course Performance

On the course, the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder was easy to get a distance reading even when only using one hand – now with my shakes that is impressive! It’s noticeably smaller and lighter than other rangefinders on the market such as the Shot Scope Pro ZR so if size is important to you this could be the perfect choice. On the course, I actually found this really easy to pop in my pocket in between shots, and as it was so small, even during my swing I hardly noticed it was in there – so if you play a course with a cart path this could be a great option for you.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder compared to the shot scope pro zr is much smaller in every way.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder: Optical Quality

With only two buttons on the top it’s really simple to use, there’s the on-wake button and the mode button to switch between yards meters and control the slope function. The scope has a modern chrome effect to it which feels very solid and stable when turned. What I like about this is that even though it’s a small device they haven’t made the eye piece too small. And it’s really easy to adjust to make the most of the 6 times magnification.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder on the course is really easy to handle and use, it even fits in your pocket.

Visual Clarity and Accuracy

Through the scope, you have a crystal clean LCD display and the lens has color contrast and anti-glare meaning you’ll always be able to pick up the target. And for me playing on a grey UK morning I had no trouble locking onto the flag.

Additional Features and Distance Lock

If you’re within 400 yards, the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder comes with flag lock technology and a vibration function that lets you know you’ve locked on to your target. Comparing it on the course against my Shot Scope V5 GPS watch, I found it highly accurate. For example, the GPS watch gave me a reading of 136 yards to the front, and looking through the scope of the PF1 you’ll see that the reading came back at 137 yards, which was 139 yards with the slightly uphill slope. This was right as the flag was only just on the front edge of the green.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder: Testing for Accuracy

To be doubly sure of the accuracy, I even took it to the range to test the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder against the 150-yard marker to make sure the measurement was accurate, and as you can see, it returned a reading bang on 150 yards. I found the range impressive, stretching up to an 1100 pin point yardage. Together with its 6 times magnification and accuracy of between plus and minus 1 yard, it’s perfect to ensure you get an accurate distance on your shots every time.

i tested the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder at the range and it was accurate vs the 150 yard markers.

Weather Resistance and Warranty

Now the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder is all-weather, it’s supposed to give a clear reading to the flag even in heavy rain, but I’m sorry Mileseey, as a fair-weather golfer, and a bit of a wimp, there’s no way I’m playing in heavy rain to test this feature out—I guess you’ll just have to trust them on this one. And If you’re interested, they also offer a 2-year warranty and lifetime tech support.

Battery Life and Charging

Now, this device doesn’t have a magnetic strip which you might find in other models on the market, but actually, as this is so small you can easily slip it in your pocket in between shots. This is USB C Rechargeable which I’m a big fan of, I find this much better than battery-powered devices. And Mileseey says the PF1 can last up to 15000 measurements – I’ve used it for 2 rounds now without charge and it’s been absolutely fine.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder is USB C rechargeable.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder: Advanced Features

I always say that one of the most important features to get in a rangefinder is adjustable slope technology which can be turned off and on, this means you can still use the rangefinder with slope turned off in competitions without getting disqualified, and you can keep it on in social games with your mates. Well, the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder does have adjustable slope technology, they call it pro-level slope technology, and what’s even better is that they’ve added a helpful green light to indicate

the Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder has slope compensation which can be turned on and off.

Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder: Conclusion and Special Offer

I’ve been waiting to get my hands on Mileseey PF1 Rangefinder for a long time as I’d heard really good things about it. And I’m pleased to say I was seriously impressed with this device.
